I used to think the world was a wonderful place to be. Nowadays, the world seems to be cruel and heartless. Everyone seems to be out for themselves and our core values have disintegrated. Nobody seems to care about anybody else! People seem to be drifting farther apart, disagreements over everything anymore. We need to be a united people, we need to support each other and stand behind each other. Suicides are rampant in all walks of life... why do you think that is?

Memories swirl through my mind, memories of a time when you were here. Memories of us laughing and bonding. Why did you have to leave? Why did you have to leave before you actually left for good? I miss you more than words can express grandma. I look to the sky as a tear slowly falls.
