Jitterbug Perfume - Tom Robbins

This quote was added by weesin
The word desire suggests that there is something we do not have. If we have everything already, then there can be no desire, for there is nothing left to want. I think that what the Buddha may have been trying to tell us is that we have it all, each of us, all the time; therefore, desire is simply unnecessary.

this is simply just a bad take. if everyone acts like they have everything we will all just die in mutual denial as we fail to serve any service to each other and to ourselves

Foolish take on a NEEDED human emotion! Of course desire, lust, is needed! Thank one's parents for their lusts and desires! Thank you own swift handed taylor for his lust and desire for money for purpose that compelled him (or a her) to his (or a her) trade!
