A bad quote?

Ok... so we all rate quotes on this site. What exactly is a bad quote according to you guys? Is a very hard to type quote a bad quote? I have read comments where people say that personal quotes are bad quotes. And why is that so as long as they are not grammatically wrong? And what if a quote has too many special characters? Will you mark it as a bad quote? Just wondering. Would love to hear the different viewpoints on your ideas of good and bad quotes. Btw, will you mark a quote bad if it from your most disliked film/novel? And if so, why exactly, since this is a typing site and the idea behind a quote should not be a matter of concern to anyone?

I don't mind personal quotes. I just don't like quotes that are dumb lol.

There are no bad qoutes; only bad typists. The only qoutes that could be really claimed bad are those with typing errors.

That being said, when I downvote a qoute it's usually because it displays a mindset that I don't like, for example a really pessimistic one and I don't wanna be typing that and get it on my mind.

There's not really anything that comes to mind other than quotes that are just typists saying how awful it is for them to try to use punctuation while typing. I typed one out that said something like "I hate punctuation because I'm not good at it and it slows me down, we should remove punctuation from typing" Or something like that.

That said, I personally don't like typing that stuff as much either, but I'm not going to become a better typist if I don't do it.
