Yes, a lot! That show and Over the Garden Wall are so atmospheric and coherent with their aesthetics that they drove me in instantly when I watched them.
Personally, I didn't cringe in any episode, but it's been a while since I last watched it, so it doesn't tell me anything about how I would react right now.
