I got zero WPM in error

By meiquer - updated: 4 years, 2 months ago - 20 messages

In one quote that I typed out, I could see with the corner of my eye that I was hovering around 70 WPM and when I finished typing it - it said 0.00 WPM. Even though it reported my accuracy at 90-something %. Has this happened to anyone? Is there any way to erase that point from your stats?

Have you considered typing faster? 0.00 wpm is a pretty slow pace.

It could be a glitch or something. That's never happened to me before.

This is my student so can I please handle my student in class tomorrow please and you people need to mind your guy's business.

"Your student" posted a question in a public forum for ANYONE to answer.
I can't believe you are even a teacher, saying "mind your guy's business". An apostrophe is used to indicate possession; (did you know that?)
He is "our guy" and we were minding the business HE posted.

Also a teacher with a username "yogirlrze33" that cannot touch type, ostensibly training a student to type. Unique setup.

Thanks for the answers, I had fun reading them. I see this hasn't happened to anyone who came across this post.
For the record: I'm no one's student, I'm guessing it's a reference to some movie or something I don't get.

I'm impressed to hear from you. I've done some preliminary calculations and it should have taken you approximately eternity to type that out, at your usual speed of 0.00. Congrats on the improvement!

I genuinely like to go through these Forum threads just to read ironic comments and see the whole drama some members create, always the same dudes engaging in an argument.

For real though!

Yes Gelbut tends to take the "pro-authoritarian, pro-conservatism, pro-most-things-are-conspiracies" stance and I tend to push back on that. It's a good time.

... said a guy with a hammer and sickle on his profile pic LOL (☭ ͜ʖ ☭)

I did that in honor of you, bud. I'm not a communist.

Hilarious juxtaposition. We assumed you're rooting either for Bernie Sanders (☭) or Buttigieg (LGBT), hence that flag on your profile pic.

Neither am I. Btw, some authority is actually good for a country so long as it leads to economic prosperity, higher standards of living and strong defense system.

"bud" :) In the words of Charles Caleb Colton, “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”.

"Pro-most-things-are-conspiracies" is newspeak for "having point of view different than your own"

@meiquer Like I said, this site is super buggy. Don't worry! just keep practicing

Who is "we"? Are you multiple people??

Is there a candidate you support here in the US? I don't strongly support anyone right now.

You're right that Bernie has some very democratic socialist views. I don't know why Buttigieg being LBGT is an issue. I guess Russian society is still quite homophobic. Gay people have been around as long as people have. Who are you to say what they're doing is wrong? Isn't that your god's job to decide?

We, the people of Keyhero, assumed you're rooting either for Bernie or Buttigieg. This same thought may have come to other people, too.

"I don't know why Buttigieg being LBGT is an issue. I guess Russian society is still quite homophobic. Gay people have been around as long as people have. Who are you to say what they're doing is wrong? Isn't that your god's job to decide?" I never said nor implied that I have something against gay people. It's not my fault you're gay for Straw Man, my dude :)

Him being a part of the LGBT community was the only thing you identified about him which confused me (his sexuality is less substantive than policies, in my mind) and made me think you cared. There's also the fact that you referred to gay marriage as something for "decadent pervs" (unless I misinterpreted that?) in another thread.

Straw man for me is at least two Seinfeld Putins worth of sexy (which is to say, incomprehensibly attractive).
