When my fingers hurt after too much time on the keyboard, I stop and take 5-10 (give or take) and flex my fingers for a bit. I also take the time to message each finger for about 5 seconds depending on how bad they hurt. I also message the palms of my hands for a little while as well because I find doing that helps my fingers loosen up and relax.
