The US enters WW1 because of German agression and economics. The US gov sold Liberty bonds, which is when they invest in another government. The US sets up a commmitee of public information, where they implemented propaganda to the public. This commitee sent war news to the newspapers which announced US victories and depicted german atrocities. Not all of these news were necessarily true. As a result, average German citizens were attacked and vandalized.
