As someone who has doubled my average words per minute touch typing, here are a couple of recommendations that I have. The first would be finger positions. Read ahead and plan your finger positions accordingly. Secondly, don't think about typing the letters individually, but think about the word itself. And third of all, slow down your reading pace to the point where you're fluently typing on the keyboard.
