Anonymous - Fake Deep Thoughts
I wish I had a deeper understanding of the world around me. It's too bad I'm not smart enough to come up with any deep or meaningful insight on my existence or the systems working around me. I'd consider myself to be a thinker; sure. My mind is constantly contemplating my perception of reality and trying to deconstruct it all to create some sort of meaning. Unfortunately the thoughts that come out as a result are far from extraordinary or useful. Forever stuck in a loop of mediocrity.

Anonymous - Perception
It's funny how perception can affect someone's response to a simple phrase so drastically. Working at a call center I have a tendency to refer to people as sir or ma'am. It's interesting how people respond; some people are so offended while others seem to really appreciate it. It doesn't seem too dependent on age. I've gotten older people who appreciate the formal title, and some fall into the offended camp. Same with younger people as well. Strange world.

Toxic Brew - Lardass Hogan
A brand new fall seasonal ale from Toxic Brew, the recipe reads like a recipe for a blueberry cobbler, but in beer form. Medium body, ready aromas and flavors, lots of blueberry flavor, with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. It's a tribute to the man, the myth, the legend, Davey Hogan, and his plan for blueberry pie revenge in one of our favorite movies, Stand by Me. You may want to drink so much of it that you throw it up all over your enemies. Just not in our bar, please...

Dayton Beer Company - Oregon Alley
Hops, hops, and more hops. Brewed with a whopping 4lbs of hops per barrel, our Imperial IPA delivers and then some for hoppy, bitter goodness. Highlighting Centennial, Zeus, Cascade, Crystal, and Zythos Hops.

Warped Wing Brewery - Flyer Red
Look up to a place beyond imagination. Where the few with a vision, never knew the definition of "can't be done." And where human determination was not measured by monetary gain. But by an ardent desire to get somewhere first. Ohio. The owners of the sky. Where the American spirit lives on. Flyer Red. An American Red Lager. A refreshingly smooth, patiently-fermented beer. Good things come to those who wait.

Rhinegeist Brewery - Truth
Rare are moments of truth, when you've struck the last match, belting out tunes with your friends, staring deep into the campfire - times when you feel infinite. Our Truth is found in the scintillating brilliance of hops. Brewed with a nod to the Pacific, hops sizzle with tropical fruit aroma, grapefruit and mango notes and a dry finish.

Yellow Springs Brewery - Barrell Aged Prowler
We took this full-bodied Oatmeal Stout and aged it in Widow Jane Bourbon barrels for eight months. Notes of chocolate, oak, bourbon, and roasted barley blend into a complex flavor profile that is both bold and smooth.

Daryl Davis - Worst Enemy
If you spend five minutes with your worst enemy - it doesn't have to be about race, it could be about anything... you will find that you both have something in common. As you build upon those commonalities, you're forming a relationship and as you build about that relationship, you're forming a friendship.

Daryl Davis - Ignorance
There's a difference between being ignorant and being stupid... For me, an ignorant person is someone who makes the wrong decision or a bad choice because he or she does not have the proper facts. If you give that person the facts and the proper information you have alleviated that ignorance, and they make the right decision.

Anonymous - Love
Love is universal. It's something we all can understand, and something we all can benefit from. There are a lot of things that divide us, but not much that brings us together. Love does. Don't spread hate, spread love. Look at Daryl Davis. Now that's a man we could all learn from!

Anonymous - Untitled.
Where have I been all this time? I can sense the world moving around me, but somehow it left me behind. I didn't care to see; therefore, I was effectively blind. Now that the veil is lifted, now that I'm here and I can see what's around me, I wish I could go back. Maybe if I was present before, maybe if I had paid attention when it mattered, things would be different. But they aren't different. Everything is as it is. All I can do now is try and make up for lost time.

Anonymous - Another Weird addition to a Weird Website
Anybody else notice that this website is kind of weird? Just in terms of the quotes that get submitted and the comments; it's funny how even a website about typing becomes some sort of flame-war utopia. Anyway I am starting enjoy taking a few moments in a day to come up with a quote for this site. No matter how it performs in the ratings, it's nice to get a chance to write creatively. Don't get me wrong I am no author, but even though I may not be particularly talented I do enjoy writing!

Anonymous - A thought
I've always thought it would be a good idea to have a news network that is truly full spectrum. What I mean by this is that it would have a diversely minded staff of journalists whose opinions and beliefs span the entirety of the political spectrum. This network would broadcast shows that feature meaningful and respectful dialogue between dissenting positions. I believe that the individuals on the radical ends of the spectrum's inability to get along is the wrench in the gears of this thought.
