political - Tommy Douglas

Let me remind you what fascism is. It need not wear a brown shirt or a green shirt - it may even wear a dress shirt. Fascism begins the moment a ruling class, fearing the people may use their political democracy to gain economic democracy, begins to destroy political democracy in order to retain its power of exploitation and special privilege.

This is not a correct definition of fascism. It describes something that may in some instances include fascism or be as bad as fascism, but it doesn't define fascism.

So you're saying that you were wrong for saying I participate in "hate mongering" and that you do, in fact, give up on others and leave them to the abattoir?

Does having a locus on which to place your extraneous hate along with your gabbling on while attempting to abase others with your garrulousness help you feel more secure about yourself?
mumma 1 mois, 3 semaines avant
You don't need help - you simply need to do some research on Trump. Discover his racism and lies for yourself
imustbeabigot 1 mois, 3 semaines avant
How is it "hate mongering" when I've never expressed a political stance and only asked questions?

So you're okay with giving up on people who need your help?
mumma 1 mois, 3 semaines avant
Wow - you really are a die-hard Trump supporter. There's no arguing with someone like you. Just like Trump, you dodge questions rather than answer them. I'll leave you to your hate mongering - I'm just wasting my time trying to get you to your hero Trump for what he truly is
imustbeabigot 1 mois, 3 semaines avant
If I understand correctly, based on this conversation so far, you're okay with using ad hominem, false dichotomy, and strawman arguments then?
mumma 1 mois, 3 semaines avant
Duh - obviously. Once someone says something unforgivably disgusting and hateful, I don't want to hear anything else they have to say. So if someone says "I'm a pedophile and like to kidnap and rape children", I don't really care if they're in support of positive things like caring for the environment or for animals or donate to their local children's hospital. Would you?

And the things that Trump says do not make him "seem like a bad person"....HE IS a bad person. How can someone be a good person when lies and hate spew from their ignorant mouth all day every day. Trump's lies have been tracked since he came into office - as of January 2020, he had publicly made over 16,000 false statements.
imustbeabigot 1 mois, 3 semaines avant
But only judge them by the things they say that make them seem like a bad person, not the good things? Or are the good things irrelevant once a bad thing is said?
mumma 1 mois, 3 semaines avant
Well now we've discussed how Trump is a hate-filled racist, now let's have a look at how Trump is an absolute moron who lies through his teeth and can't string together an intelligible sentence. He made a complete ass of himself in this interview (just as he does anytime he's in the lime light that he seems to need so terribly)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YR-e2NHiFTU

It's amusing watching the interviewer trying not to openly mock Trump's stupidity. I commend the interviewer on his ability to talk to a madman yet keep his cool

The source of the compilation of quotes if irrelevant, because, as I stated, you can research them all individually and verify them - most of them were caught on video so there's no denying that Trump is a racist. And yes, I believe that a person can and should be judged on the words that come out of their mouth. Duh - that's how people form opinions about others. This is the problem with you pig-headed Trump supporters - you ignore his actions and his words even if they're staring you right in the face

Oh nice, Huffington Post :)
Do you believe that a person's inherent identity can be generalized once you have a collection of quotes?

Do you not watch his speeches or interviews or read the news? Trump has been spouting racist and misogynistic garbage since the 1970s. I urge you to do your own research. Check out this link for a sampling...and yes, each of the quotes in the link can be independently verified. I believe many of them were captured on video. The man is one step away from donning sheet and burning crosses on people's lawns
imustbeabigot 1 mois, 3 semaines avant
When did Trump say those things?
mumma 1 mois, 3 semaines avant
@imustbeabigot your username alone is offensive. I won't deny that certain measurable indicators of the welfare of minority communities have improved during Trump's 'presidency', however, those gains gained traction during Obama's presidency, not Trump's (eg employment and poverty rates - both of those numbers declined by a higher percentage under Obama than under Trump).

Because you appear to be a Trump supporter (and therefore beyond saving or reasoning with) I won't waste much more of my time on you. But if you think that these improvements which were actually spear-headed by Obama outweigh the fact that a raging racist lunatic that refers to people of colour as "thugs", "criminals" and "rapists" is leading a nation, you're as misguided as Trump himself
imustbeabigot 1 mois, 3 semaines avant
@mumma
Honestly curious, how would you explain all the achievements that have been accomplished in minority communities while Trump has been in office?
mumma 1 mois, 3 semaines avant
Sound familiar? Trump is an orange-hued, ridiculously coiffed fascist. Vote wisely Americans. Hopefully you people have learned your lesson and won't re-elect a "pussy grabbing", ignorant racist of a con artist again. You reap what you sow...keep that in mind when casting your ballot
