Text: The Nasca people created the most extraordinary shapes some 2000 years ago on a stark stony desert in Peru. Some are recognisable animals and plants; some are less recognisable. There is a fish with the head of a cat and a human figure standing 30 metres tall, staring from the hillside with owl-like eyes. There's an animal that is also partly a plant.
