Text: I remember when I was a little girl. The days where being your personal best was just making sure you had a smile. Nobody yelling at you to do certain tasks but to brave the world with your art supplies, your only monsters were the ones under your bed. Those monsters now fight us mentally and physically. We were told the world was your oyster, but the truth being that we are all just as claustrophobic as a clam. We were never destined to be the pearl- we were destined to protect the pearls.
