| I am a programming student at a local university by day, a gamer by night. I was able to reach 80-90 wpm on qwerty without touch typing. (left hand remained on wasd and right hand was there to help) Decided to learn touch typing for comfort, speed and accuracy. Through a friend I discovered the wonderful world of arch linux and so also discovered dvorak as he uses it. Since I had to learn touch typing from 0 anyways, I made the switch to dvorak. So far I can only recommend everyone, if not dvorak, just to look around as it feels so much more comfortable to type a layout made for typing fast and comfortable. Started using dvorak: ?
