Imagine this happens; when you're walking down the street, you hear a loud voice that says, "On December 31 of this year everyone around you will disappear. On January first of next year, the Earth will restart. You will be teleported to the times after the dinosaurs were extinct. Whatever you have on yourself or whatever you're in, will go with you. You will be brought back and the people would reappear after a year passes by." No one seems to be bothered, so you know they're talking to you.
