Martine stood paralyzed with terror. Far below her, the snow glinted mockingly in the darkness. Behind her, the room was filling with smoke and fumes and the fire was roaring like a factory furnace. It was blisteringly, murderously hot - so hot that she felt as if her pajamas were melting off her back.

I believe that music isn't learnt from books, it's learnt from your heart, your soul. Those who don't listen can't hear it, but it's there, whatever they say. But those who do listen can hear it, a melody, music everywhere you go. Somehow it's following you, and if you catch it, you can make a song. What is music? I don't know but it's amazing. To learn, you should listen to everything, every moment, every light, every movement.
