When their eyes are looking upper left, it tells you that they are accessing an image of something from the past. Upper right indicates that the person is constructing a visual image in their mind. Lateral left direction indicates that a person is trying to recall a sound from the past. Lateral right direction indicates the creation of sound. Lower left indicates a person is deep in thought or questioning. Lower right indicates remembering the feeling of something.
