While beginning a new career at a senior home, I was getting to know staff and residents. All was well until race was a topic, and a nurse, younger than me at that, declared she can't stand different races. How can you take an oath to practice nursing, and not like different races? It makes me glad to know, that by myself being a nurse, everyone will be taken care of that I come across. Medicine and healthcare is not picky or racist. I hope now days, people understand that!
