Text : She hit me. She yelled at me. School was a safe haven. I was afraid to go home. I cried. I cowered. I flinched. She pushed me. She yanked my hair. She pushed my younger sibling. She shook me. Always when dad was at work. Afraid to tell him. Afraid I would get hurt worse. Afraid to do anything. Always hiding. Staying away. Trying not to be noticed by them. I was scared.
