Life Goes On - Farewell - Jonathan Ball
Our eyes meet, and all the sadness I felt radiate from him earlier is nothing compared to the miserable agony that is now concentrated in his eyes, a concentrated bolt of grief and dejection that burns into mine and leaves me feeling like everything within my body has vanished and has left a cold vacuum in its place. His eyes are now empty. His body has gone limp except for his grip on my arm, which is somehow even stronger.
