Text : Some people mean well but express the wrong form of patriotism. They love the country like they love their parents: they are grateful for the opportunities they have received, and they do their best to tolerate or ignore its flaws. Instead, we should love our country the way we love our children: unconditionally, but with the knowledge that it is our responsibility to shape its future and do our best to guide it away from its flaws.
