How is cheating done here?

How do people like Alex Gelbutovskiy make their accounts have 200WPM consistently? I am curious to how it works. I have also seen people artificially increase their "number of tests taken".

better question is, "how lame does a person's life has to be to cheat on a typing site?" or "how meaningless does your existence have to be to feel some sort of achievement by cheating your way to get the top score on a typing test?" I'm seriously, genuinely curious.

Yeah it baffles me as to how much their life must suck if they have to spend anything more than 5 minutes to cheat their way to the top scores on this site.

Yeah, I think the same.
But the thing is, it's threads like these that likely give them excitement.

The love the flattery, and they revel in the reaction to the impact they've had,
whether or not that impact is pitifully obnoxious, which in this case it most certainly is.

He has defended himself in older threads, feel free to look it up. His defense comes down to "don't take this so seriously" and "people are always going to find a way to cheat". I'm sure however he does it isn't particularly complex.

I guess, and only as a matter of considering a viable "excuse" for why might someone cheat, is that it could be a programming exercise. To write a piece of code that could successfully interpret the task and type out the answer? It'd be interesting if it's pure OCR... Hmmm

What's the highest legit score?

Make your own test of just the letter aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, then hold down the button. Do that over and over. Or, for the really committed, make a macro to start the test and spam the button for you. give it an hour to run, and you life is successfully lame enough to cheat on a typing test site.

Just make your own test, no need for interpretation!

Oscar Wilde once said: "There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about."

So yeah, keep'em coming, you hate-filled boys & girls. Keep'em coming! :)

You can easily make a python script to do it for you.
for example pyautogui is a good package to use for these things
