All the advice in this book will serve you better if you can type quickly. No matter how knowledgeable you are, if you type 40 words per minute and your equally knowledgeable friend types 120, they're set up to work three times as fast as you. Search the web for "typing speed test" to measure your speed, then search for "typing tutor" and build a lifelong skill. Try to reach 100 words per minute. It's worth the effort.

Not gonna lie, no matter how fast you type, there's always going to be a second limit that exists: the speed at which you can create sentences. Even if you can type 120 words per minute, if you can only think at 40 wpm, then your overall productive speed is still going to be stuck at 40 wpm. I think the best thing you can do is to try and match up your typing speed with your 'thinking' speed, but anything beyond that is kind of pointless though.
