Did you ever wonder what the words coming out of your mouth are really doing to the other person listening to you, and I emphasize on the word "listening" and not "hearing". If you want to know, try this short, very simple exercise. It will only take you the time you took to say it to the other person. Say what you just said to the other person to yourself. If deep down you feel bad about it, then most probably that is how the person who was listening to you felt too.
